FAQ's
Do you take custom orders?
No I do not make custom orders. All busts are first come first serve. I’m always open to suggestions for what features you’d like to see on upcoming mannequins, but this does not guarantee you’ll see exactly what you want.
How often do you post a new mannequin?
Each bust takes a week to create. However, I take days to work on other duties for my business as well. Since it’s just me, this can make the creation period longer. A more accurate estimate is that I post 2-4 mannequins per month. Follow me on instagram @ladygeppetto and watch my stories to see newly listed pieces or refresh my website.
Do you make mannequins that mount on tripods or do you create hair styling mannequins?
No, I do NOT create hair styling mannequins. My busts are intended for display use only. It’s recommended to style the wig with any products, especially aerosols, on a styling head prior to moving it to my bust for pictures. The purpose of my mannequins is to be observed & displayed as art or for photography. This is how they should be used if you want them to last and be properly cared for.
Will you have more variety of forms in the future?
Yes. Right now I purchase my busts from a manufacturer, where from there I drill on the busts and completely renovate them. My manufacture only has a few styles of busts right now that I can work on. In the future I plan to create my own mannequins with equipment that will allow me to offer a lot more variety of forms/ face shapes.
Will my mannequin be shipped/ arrive in the condition I bought it in?
Yes absolutely. I am a singular artist and not a manufacturer company. I take a lot of time & care packaging my busts. No matter how far they’re traveling, they will get to you in perfect condition including their eyelashes.
Why do you not take refunds or exchanges?
My no return policy is because of the tedious way I package them to ship them out. It’s almost guaranteed the client won’t be able to package the bust without damage happening during shipping back. I would be losing my investment this way. However I’m always open to working with my clients. If there were any mishaps in shipping or defects in the bust just email me so we can work on a solution together. Please see my policies for more information.
